Old Town Laughs started in Goleta, Ca with a simple idea: comedy deserves the room’s attention.

Founded by Gary Polsen in 2024 and built alongside Santa Barbara DJ Serenade, Old Town Laughs began by turning local open mics into something bigger.

What started as two friends, a microphone and an idea has grown into live shows built around good comedy, music and the details that make a room feel alive.

We like loud laughs, a little ruckus and creating a stage where people from all walks of life can grab the mic and be heard.
